Policies

Pacific Beach & Beyond has a strict 2 night minimum. The minimum is 3 nights on major holidays.

 CHECK-IN: Between 4:00- 6:00p.m.
(Our office closes at 6:00, however we gladly accommodate Late Check-ins.  Please notify us if arrangements need to be made!)

CHECK-OUT: Prior to 11:00a.m.  Please return pouch with keys to our office.  A key drop box is conveniently located left of the office door.

Prompt check-out is imperative to ensure our staff has adequate time to prepare the home for incoming guests.

Major holidays require a 3 night minimum stay.

PAYMENT POLICIES
Pacific Beach & Beyond requires a credit card (VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER) to hold a reservation. Checks, money orders, etc. are not accepted. A Reservation Deposit equivalent to one night +tax is required to reserve a property.  This amount is non-refundable if you should cancel. The reservation may be rescheduled without penalty, if done 15 days or more prior to check in. If the reservation is placed within 14 days of the time of arrival, the entire amount, including deposit will be charged.  Rates are subject to Washington State sales and lodging tax. All rates, fees and policies are subject to change without notice.

14 days prior to your arrival, the credit card you provided will be automatically charged the remaining balance due unless other arrangements are made.

A fee may be assessed for certain modifications to an existing reservation.. (i.e. rescheduling your reservation within the 14 day time period prior to arrival will assess a penalty equivalent to the first night + tax)

SECURITY DEPOSIT
Security Deposits are deferred when paying by Credit Card. However, the renter is held responsible and their credit card will be charged for:

Any abuse – damage or theft.

Any indication that a guest has been smoking indoors.  This includes garage or annex buildings. $150 minimum fee

Sand in Washer or Dryer- Minimum $50 fee will be assessed for sand in washer/dryer.

Any indication that a pet was brought without permission.

Poop bags are provided for cleaning up after your pet.  An additional fee of $25 will be charged if we are required to pick up after your pet.
$50 Minimum charge will be added if there is any indication dogs were in or on the beds.

Any need for housekeeping beyond what would be considered “normal”. (excessive dirt, dishes not being cleaned, dried, and put away)

You will be informed by e-mail and a phone call as to why and when such additional charges are made.

REMOVAL OF PROPERTY
Absolutely No Item is to be removed from the rental.

CLEANING FEE

Additional laundry service is not included in the cleaning fee.  Many homes offer washers and dryers for your use.  If your unit does not have a washer/dryer, there is a public laundry at the Sand Dollar Inn, located at 2nd @ Central in Pacific Beach. Linens can be exchanged at the Pacific Beach & Beyond office, for an additional charge or $25 per load.

Your non-refundable cleaning fee covers basic cleaning, to prepare the home for the next guest’s arrival.  It does not include washing dishes or cleaning excessive dirt.  These are privately owned homes and we ask you show the owners the same respect and consideration you would expect if opening your home to strangers.

An initial supply of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags will be found in the home. If additional supplies are needed during your stay they can be purchased at the You & I Market @ 2nd and Main in Pacific Beach, or at the Moclips Market on SR 109 in Moclips.  You will want to bring food and spices, beach towels, laundry soap and charcoal briquettes (if applicable) and firewood for beach bonfires or wood stoves.

Please leave the home in the same general condition as it was when you arrived. You are not required to do laundry. Staff will arrive after your departure to thoroughly clean and inspect the home.  All garbage should be placed in outside receptacle.

All food and drink spills should be cleaned up as they occur. Food and drink spills on carpet are considered to be damage, not normal wear and tear.

Refrigerator should be emptied of all food and free of spills. Dishes should be washed, dried and put away.

Additional housekeeping charges may also be applied in the occurrence of exceeding the maximum occupancy of the property.

PET POLICY
We LOVE dogs! And are thrilled to offer quality pet friendly homes. We know that most pet owners are very respectful, and to you, we are most grateful.

You have rented a privately owned property, and the owners of the homes have instilled basic rules that we ask you to abide by.
Not honoring these rules will result in additional fees.

1. DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED IN HOME AT ANYTIME UNLESS PROPERLY CRATED.
2. Dogs should be on leash and supervised at all times when outside.  (however the beach is an off-leash beach)
3. BARKING DOGS are not tolerated even when crated.  Your rental property has neighbors, and we must be respectful of them.
4. Do not leave dogs on decks or in yards unsupervised.
5. IMPORTANT: We suggest bringing dog towels for wiping muddy paws.  household towels are not to be used on your pet.
6. Clean up after your dog.
7. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD PETS BE ALLOWED ON FURNITURE (beds, couches, etc)
Minimum fee is $50 if we find dogs have been on furnishings due to excessive hair, pet odor, etc.
ANIMALS OTHER THAN DOGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
should the need arise to cancel your reservation regardless of reason (including bad weather, illness, death, or economic factors) your reservation deposit will be forfeited, and applied as a cancellation fee. If the cancelation occurs within 14 days of check-in (once the reservation has been paid for) Cancellation Fee will be 50% of total reservation.

Since a privately owned property has been reserved for your use, no refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or for leaving the home for mechanical failure of non-essential items. Management reserves the right to terminate your contract with no refund if any of the rules set forth have been ignored.  No refunds are issued for weather related issues, power outages, noise issues, etc, or any other issue that is out of management’s control.  No refund or other compensation will be provided for any issues that were not brought to management’s attention immediately upon discovery.  We cannot resolve the problem if we don’t know about it!

SMOKING POLICY
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED IN ANY OF OUR HOMES INCLUDING GARAGES AND ANNEX BUILDINGS.  This includes E-Cigs, Cannabis, Tobacco Products, or any other type of ‘smoke’ not mentioned here.

GENERAL POLICIES

Identification is required at check-in.  For safety reasons, keys will only be provided to the person named on the reservation.

Also for your safety and security, a reservation will not be discussed with a party other than the person who placed the reservation. For this reason, it is important that you provide any guests that are joining you the directions to the vacation rental property.

Primary registered guest is responsible for any expenses incurred during the visit, including but not limited to loss and damages, accident or injury to person, or loss sustained while visiting the home.  *Qualified renters must be 25 years of age or older. Rentals to groups of sororities, fraternities, college & high school graduations, etc., are specifically prohibited.

Occupancy for each home is strictly enforced and fines will be assessed for exceeding the number of allowed guests.

Parking is limited; most homes accommodate 3 vehicles, the cottages 2. Any vehicles parking in or blocking a fire lane will be towed. No motor homes, trailers, campers, or boats are allowed. (Exception for fishing boats, if they can safely be accommodated at the unit)

Pacific Beach & Beyond and homeowners disclaim all liability for injury, loss, or damage. Pacific Beach & Beyond will be held harmless from claims arising out of use of home. Pacific Beach & Beyond is an agent for the owner, not an owner nor a tenant. As agent, Pacific Beach & Beyond has the authority to act in the best interest of the home owners in any and all situations. Each home is privately owned, including furnishings.

ITEMS LEFT BEHIND:
Pacific Beach & Beyond assumes no responsibility for items left behind.  Pacific Beach & Beyond will hold found items for 30 days. Prescription drugs will be properly destroyed within 7 days.  Weapons will be turned into Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Dept. Pacific Beach & Beyond will return items at guests request via USPS.  Guest will assume cost of postage, packaging and a handling charge of $15.00

KEYS
2 Keys are provided for each home. A $50 charge will apply if keys are missing or lost.

AMENITIES LIST
The following items are included in each vacation rental:
Color TV, Silverware, Dishes/Cookware, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Kitchen Utensils, Bath Towels, Bed Linens, Blankets, Quilts/Shams/Pillows, Broom, Plunger, Garbage Containers, Trash Bags, dish soap

*Some homes have Stereos, DVD players, Flashlights, radios, and clocks.

Propane is provided for gas BBQ’s

You’ll want to bring the following items for your stay:
Food, spices & Condiments, Baby equipment, Personal Toiletries, Beach Towels & Equipment, Specialty Cooking Items, Alarm Clocks
